Pacific Chapter is Involved at the Hillsboro City Council Nov 19

Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway was recognized by Pacific Chapter Master Councilor Joseph Tuosto with DeMolay International’s Medal of Appreciation at the City Council Meeting of the City of Hillsboro Tuesday November 19, 2024. Dad Bill Clark, PIMC and MC Joseph made remarks thanking Mayor Callaway for his service to youth and to DeMolay in particular.  Joining in the presentation was Dad Warren Cole.  The event was joined by Dad John Coulter, Executive Officer, Dad Gabriel Jones-Gallardo, PICS, Dad James Reardon, Milwaukie Chapter, and Mom Emily Wheelbarger, Pacific Chapter. This civic recognition was a sort of homecoming for Dad Coulter (visiting from Arizona) and Dad Jones-Gallardo each of whom have served or are serving the City of Hillsboro on the Planning Commission.  Also at the Council meeting were members of the Hillsboro Youth Advisory Committee from local high schools, and Boy Scout representatives. This civic service opportunity was a great event to provide recognition for youth service and to provide visibility to Pacific Chapter in the community.
